Martin Luther referred to the Epistle of James as a "straw epistle" because he believed it lacked the central message of justification by faith alone, which was a key tenet of his theology. Luther placed it at the end of the Bible to indicate that he considered it less important compared to other books that he believed more clearly conveyed the message of salvation through faith in Christ. Despite Luther's criticisms, the Epistle of James is still considered a valuable part of the New Testament by many Christians for its teachings on practical Christian living and good works. **

The texts read as the Gospel and Epistle in the church service are determined based on the liturgical calendar. Each day in the church calendar has assigned readings, including specific Gospel and Epistle readings. These readings are often selected to align with the themes and messages of the church season or feast day being celebrated. Additionally, the readings may also be chosen to provide a coherent message or lesson for the congregation to reflect on during the service. **

A light grey or white wall color would complement a dark grey kitchen decor nicely. These lighter shades will create a contrast that enhances the dark grey elements in the kitchen while also brightening up the space. Additionally, a soft pastel color like pale blue or mint green can also work well with a dark grey kitchen, adding a touch of color without overwhelming the space. **
